Conducive school Infrastructure makes it possible for children to increase attendance and improve performance in schools. We create comfortability for children in their studies and support teachers to deliver content in good environment. Through School Building Projects we create conducive and sustainable environment for children and youth to attain their dreams by supporting SDG’s 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Over the years we have grown from supporting district bonanza winning schools with 4 million TZS for a School Building Project of their choice to 26.4 mil TZS which is 60% of the selected project. The remaining 30% and 10% are contributed by the government and school communities, respectively as it makes a project cost of 44,000,000 Tzsh.
Apart from BONANZA winners we also support needy schools selected by the district councils. These constructions address existing challenges such as inadequate classrooms, toilets and menstrual hygiene rooms and water tanks.
Through School Building Projects we have created conducive studying environments for 516,000 pupils, eradicated Physical and Psychological disturbances to girls, by ensuring proper Menstrual Hygiene Management through building 9 private rooms for adolescent girls to use during their periods. We have been able to; construct 51 classrooms, 121 Toilets, 9 private rooms, 21 water tanks, 11 water filters, 581 desks, and 5 printers with computers.
