Jambo For Development is an NGO registered in Tanzania under the registration number 00010226 of June 2019.

Our focal area of operation is in Kagera region primary schools whereby we have been operating since the year 2010 under the NGO known as Jambo Bukoba (JB) with her headquarters in Munich-Germany. So, the staff have ten years working experience from Jambo Bukoba has been incorporated to Jambo For Development (JFD).

These areas have been addressed by using Innovative Life Skills Games by training sports teachers who become multipliers in their respective schools.
The organization has reached 63 schools in terms of improved infrastructure by building or refabricating classrooms, toilets, offices as well as building water tanks to improve the sanitation in schools intending to increase attendance and performance especially for girls.

All these have been done after a school has won in the Life Skills Games competition (Bonanza) and awarded Forty Four Million TZS (44,000,000) of which the community contribute 10%, The district government 30% and Jambo For Development 60% for the chosen school project. Through those initiatives, 51,699 pupils have been reached as beneficiaries.
The two NGOs will continue to work in partnership to foster and promote conducive teaching and learning environment in schools by involving the local government and communities to ensure projects ownership and sustainability.
